Building and Construction General On-site Award Penalty Rates 2026
Published Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and evening rates for the Building and Construction General On-site Award (MA000020), effective 1 July 2026. These are the resulting hourly figures from the pay database — not calculated from a base rate.
Higher rates generally apply for overtime and for work outside ordinary site hours, including early starts, weekends and public holidays, and a range of site and industry allowances can also apply on top of the base rate.
The Building and Construction General On-site Award does not set separate weekend or public holiday penalty rates in the pay database for these classifications.
