Where these rates come from
The pay database publishes the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award’s rate at each percentage without naming the day. The award (consolidated to 1 July 2026) names it, and the dollar figures above are the pay database’s own at that percentage. Every figure matches the Fair Work Ombudsman pay guide.
- Full-time and part-time: Ordinary hours, 100% (clause C.2.2)
- Full-time and part-time: Saturday (agreed ordinary hours, day workers), 150% (clause 33.1(a)(i))

The MAPD grid (Schedule C.2.2 and C.3.2) publishes the rate at each percentage without naming the day; clause 33.1 names it. Weekend rates are for day workers whose ordinary hours include the weekend by agreement under clause 17.2(c). Casual percentages apply to the casual ordinary rate (25% loading, or 17.5% for vehicle manufacturing employees in the technical field, clause 48.1).
