Published Saturday, Sunday, public holiday and evening rates for the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award (MA000089), effective 1 July 2026. These are the resulting hourly figures from the pay database — not calculated from a base rate.

Higher penalty rates generally apply to work at the weekend and on public holidays, and to overtime worked beyond the ordinary hours. Saturday afternoon, Sunday and public holiday shifts are the times most likely to be paid at a higher rate.
